Audio / Visual Project: ‘awarpedworld’
An ongoing look at the relationship between what we see and what we hear - this project features all original artwork and music.
To explore my interest in creating music in response to visual media, I started an Instagram-based project whereby I create artwork (partly using AI) and then produce soundscapes in response.
This idea acts as a way of practicing the process of producing sound to visual cues, while also acting as another means of experimentation and sonic exploration.
I have positioned this page as a type of audio-visual archive, which enables the audience to "hear what they see" - with all audio being specifically created to represent its visual counterpart.
